EAT THE WORD OF GOD
Man needs a balanced diet in order to live a normal christian life
Matthew 4:4 "But He answered and said, It is written man shall not live on bread alone but on every word that proceeds out through the mouth of God."
To live a normal life according to God, man must not only eat bread, but also he needs to eat the word of God. The word of God is what has been lacking in the diet of man and is the main reason for human degradation today.
Man has lost his way, and has been satisfied with only half of the diet prescribed by the Creator. Today we ask: why has humanity sunk into a pit of violence, without respect for others, corruption, evil and death? The answer to that question is that mankind in general has stopped eating the Word of God. He has not had a balanced diet. Of course we should eat our daily bread, but we need to go back to eating "every word that proceeds out through the mouth of God." The Word of God when ingested by man, produces a wonderful effect, because what it does is fills man with what God is. God is love, peace, joy, patience, kindness, goodness, light, gentleness, humility, temperance and other virtues that are the great need of man.
Man is full of rage, anger, corruption, evil, death, sin, filth, and many other things that cause humanity to be in state of chaos. Wherever you look, man is at war, in disagreement, dissension, and division, with no peace.
The word of God, as food for man reproves, corrects, and instructs him in righteousness and satisfies him. According to the Gospel of John, chapter one, we are told that in the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. How wonderful it is to know that the Word is God or that God is the Word. The Word of God is God himself, it is God`s speaking, it is the breath of God and this shows us that the breath of God is the food for man.
When the word of God enters into man it changes him, transforming him in life and essence, so that man will enjoy a new life filled with the fullness of God.
The Bible also exhorts us as newborn babes to desire the guileless milk of the word, in order that by it we may grow unto salvation (1 Peter 2:2). When we take the word of God in a proper way, it produces a growth in our inner being, resulting in our salvation from many bad thoughts and feelings, thus we grow and experience a life full of joy.
When God created Adam, he did not give him any orders or commands to worship or serve Him, or to do this or that, all he said was to beware of what they were going to eat. Genesis 2:16 says: "And the Lord God commanded the man, saying, Of every tree of the garden you may eat" and remember that according to Genesis 2:9 the tree of life was in the middle of the garden, so it was the desire of God that Adam would eat from the Tree of Life. According to God the most important thing is what we eat, because man is what he eats, so we need to eat the word of God to be conformed to the image of God, which is the desire of our Heavenly Father.
Genesis 2:17 tells us that God commanded the man, "But the tree of knowledge of good and evil you shall not eat, because the day you eat thereof you shall surely die. This is the tragic story of man. We know from Genesis chapter 3 that Eve ate from the tree of knowledge of good and evil and that she also gave it to her husband, and from then on the story of sin and death prevails in man. The good news is, the Lord Jesus is the Bread of Life and he is available today for us to eat. He said, according to the Gospel of John, 6:63 "The words which I have spoken to you are spirit and are life.”
In the Gospel of John chapter 6:35 the Lord Jesus said: "I am the bread of life; he who comes to Me shall by no means hunger, and he who believes into Me shall by no means ever thirst ". Chapter 6 of John's Gospel presents Jesus as the bread of life and water of life, as the only one capable of satisfying the hunger and thirst of sinners.
Brothers, sisters, friends, anyone who reads this message, let me assure you in the name of God that these words are true and are the solution for our problems.
